We aim to be the friend who helps a person through a bad patch to stand on their feet again, victorious over his or her circumstances. There is always someone less fortunate than you. Love your closest deeply and forgive truly with a gentle heart. Believe in Him who is the source of life for He will shine like a blinding light protecting you from utter darkness! We believe you will agree that society can do with more people reaching out and making a difference like the parable of the Good Samaritan in the gospel of Luke.

What we do

Moeggesukkel is a non-profit company, with the aim to be a friend in need, to provide shelter, to be a support structure and develop skills development in our society. At Moeggesukkel we believe that no matter what challenges you face in life, God will NEVER test you above your abilities and remember – You are BLESSED! Our cornerstone is Jesus and the principles outlined in the Word of God. The Golden Rule sums it up “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the whole of the Law” Matt 7:12. From this rule we realised that we are our brothers’ keeper, and we must assist our neighbours in their time of need. Currently at Moeggesukkel we are helping 40 people to get back on their feet. Some were drug addicts, others victims of sexual abuse and lastly some just had real bad luck and circumstances. We have 7 children in our care as well, 3 are in pre-school, 1 in primary school and 3 in high school.

Currently we have 4 businesses, MGS Chemicals, MGS Catering, MGS Gas Worx and MGS Steel Worx. In all these businesses tasks are allocated to these individuals to perform, from manufacturing, admin to marketing. We believe these roles and duties teach them about responsibilities and it is good for them knowing that their actions are contributing to their growth. The key is to discover and develop talents in them, so that these talents could help them in future to care for themselves and families.

Martin Bester Drive - A wedding proposal live on MBD! Ruan got hold of us on email, and told us about the most amazing girl in his life, and wanted to do something extra special, something that she would remember forever! So he wrote a song for her, which he had professionally recorded in a studio, and sent it over to us. We then told his girlfriends boss to MAKE SURE the radio was on in her office, because everything was about to happen live on Jacaranda FM!
